Scotland did not perform. We did not deserve to qualify.
That is down to one reason only, we aren’t good enough, we don’t have enough quality players.
We do not have a Central defender who is at that level, we have to play KT in the RCB position for God sake to get some quality there.
We do not have an international level striker…Shankland is not at that level, he would not get into a top end English Championship side.
Out goals in qualification came from midfield but, that’s enough for qualification.but not against the better teams at the tournament.
Our performances in qualification were a surprise and that 5 game run at the beginning got us through remember though but for us stealing, and that is what we did, that Norway game we likely would not have qualified.
All 3 teams nullified our midfield and that’s us done as we have no quality elsewhere.
When we moved up late in the game against Hungary we gave up 4 opportunities. We simply don’t have the squad.
If we had an Ibrox linked non Catholic manager I firmly believe this would be the message from Scottish football but because he is not that and because he called out the racist songs and abuse directed at him, and his family, they are attacking him now.
